Mathematics
A major in mathematics generally leads to a BA, BSc or BSc(Hons). Later you can proceed to a BA(Hons), MSc, MA, DipSc or PhD You can usefully take mathematics courses while majoring in another subject. Students majoring in engineering, computer science, chemistry, physics and management often take mathematics up to the 300-level.
Statistics
A major in statistics generally leads to a BA, BSc or BSc(Hons). Later you can proceed to a BA(Hons), MSc, MA, DipSc or PhD You may wish to combine your statistics with a bachelor’s degree in biology, commerce or engineering.
