The meeting is funded primarily by a generous grant from the NZIMA through the NZMRI, in support of its mission of promoting mathematical research in New Zealand.
There is no registration fee for NZ based mathematicians. Free accommodation will be provided on a twin-share basis, and some meals (breakfasts and lunches) will be provided Participants who want a private room, or will be accompanied by family members, will need to pay the additional costs involved. We will ask that participants who have research grants make additional contributions towards costs. Alternatively, participants may wish to make tax-deductible donations to the NZMRI.
Travel grants will be available to support the transport costs of NZ based students; please email Rua Murray for details.
Generous sponsorship from the Australian Mathematical Society means that Australian student members of the AustMS can participate in the meeting at significantly reduced cost. Further details can be obtained by emailing Vivien Kirk.
The full cost of local expenses to is expected to be about NZ$700, including accommodation (on a twin-share basis), breakfasts and lunches, bus transport between Auckland and Raglan, and registration. Participants who want a private room, or will be accompanied by family members, will also need to pay the additional costs involved.
