Mike Steel

Mike Steel is a principal investigator and founding member of the Allan Wilson Centre. He directs the Biomathematics Research Centre, and is Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand

Research Interests: Phylogenetics, molecular evolution, applications of discrete and stochastic methods in computational biology.
