Venue

The conference will be held (depending on final numbers) in the Erskine Building of the University of Canterbury in Christchurch.

Registration and Welcome tea/coffee:

Talks:

Lunch, morning and afternoon tea:
Erskine 442 (4th floor).

Parking:

Travel Information

Local travel:
Many travel options are covered by UC Sustainability. A taxi from the airport to the motels close to the university will cost around NZ$20. Motels surrounding the campus are in easy walking distance. Motels on Riccarton Road are within walking distance, but there are also many university bound bus routes which service this area.

There are new motels opening on Riccarton Road (which is close to university and on many bus routes to university and city) almost by the week. So it is also worth checking out the general accomodation search sites:

Budget Accommodation:
The following budget backpackers are available in the city, with easy access to bus routes to university;

Halls of Residence:
Accomodation in the Halls of Residence is available from Bishop Julius Hall, see their website for details.

Bed and continental breakfast is available for NZ$56.00 (inclusive of GST) per night of your stay.

Rooms can be booked through Mik Black. Bookings cannot be made directly with Bishop Julius, Mik is collating a group booking. The final deadline for bookings with us is midday on 1 June. However, earlier booking is advised as rooms are limited.
